IvyMed consultations are provided face to face at our clinics. Telehealth appointments are also available.
The consultation will take approximately 20 minutes and follow-up consultations are 10 minutes. At your initial appointment, a doctor will review your regular GP referral or health summary and make an assessment regarding the appropriate treatment. This may include prescribing medications.
Face to Face Consultations
Initial in person consultations have an out of pocket fee of $80.30 ($160 less a Medicare rebate of $79.70 for eligible patients). Follow-up appointments have an out of pocket fee of $43.80 ($85 less a Medicare rebate of $41.20 for eligible patients).
Telehealth Consultations
Initial and follow-up Telehealth consultations are $99.00 (there is no Medicare rebate available for Telehealth). Returning patients who have not visited the clinic in the past 12 months are eligible for a reduced follow-up consultation fee of $85.
Any medications prescribed or recommended are charged separately. These costs can be discussed with you during your consultation with the doctor.
